A quick update-before another week goes by and I don't know it!

Jordon attended school every day this week.  We will be returning to Children's tomorrow for atleast 6 days, so it will be a while before he gets to see his friends in person.  He is doing really good (no nausea, but still ankle pain), and once again thoroughly enjoying his time at home.  His appetite has returned for the time being but I realize that when he is in the hospital he just doesn't feel like eating because the medication affects his taste buds.  While at home, we have tried to cater to his taste buds.  Fortunately he is craving soups, tuna casserole, and cole slaw.  It is funny that his taste buds change from week to week and that he has NO desire for things like ice cream or bread.  The chemotherapy regimen that he is on, over the next week, is identical to that of the last one.  This is one that tends to make children very sick, sometimes dehydrated.  So once again we will pray against side effects and will also pray that bacteria or germs will not enter his fragile body.  This treatment is a BIG one.  A BIG one because it will be the last one before we find out whether or not he is in remission.  As it stands now, the doctors goal is to have the tumor completely gone before he has a CT scan the first week of October.  We are STRONGLY praying that this happens.  These medications work, but are toxic, so we want them to work the first time.  But we also pray for God's will to be done, for His timing is perfect.

A note of thanks to all of those that are still praying for us and to those that have made our time at home so special.

We ask that you continue to pray for Jordon to be cured and against short term and long term side effects.  We ask that you also pray for the girls during this time.  Thank you ALL!!!
