Tuesday

So Jordon slept okay last night.  His oxygen dipped down to 73 at one point before I woke him up to take a breath.  He also ran a fever and it topped out at 101.5 so they did another blood culture to make sure he wasn't getting an infection or sick.  It appears that the fever is from the tumor.

They gave us a diagnosis 110% diagnosis this morning that it is Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma.  They had indicated this last night but again I had to ask them if they were 110% sure since they told us that they had ruled that out before.

So they have a tentative plan to start chemotherapy today or maybe tomorrow.  They will go in through the spinal fluid and place the chemotherapy there.  Today we will also do a bonemarrow biopsy to determine what stage the cancer is in and if it is anywhere else.  They will also do a PET and CT scan.

We want to tell you all that we have felt your prayers.  We feel at peace right now.  A friend reminded me of a Psalm today, and like I said we feel that peace.  I will lift mine eyes to the hills from where my helps come from, my help comes from the LORD who made Heaven and Earth...He will not let my foot be moved, he who keeps me shall not slumber, behold he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Psalm 121.
