As Jordon continued to lose hair at a rapid rate, and to avoid changing the pillow case every hour, we decided to shave his head. He has had his head shaved MANY times before so this was an easy option. As you can see from the picture below, he looks rather handsome.
Today Jordon had another intrathecal (spinal) injection of chemotherapy. All went well. But as the day progressed Jordon became increasingly irritable and weak. He has developed a slight tremor in his right hand and he just feels crummy. Not wanting to eat anything except saltines and goldfish. Since he has started this round he hasn't wanted to do anything except lay in bed. As my grandmother always says, "this too shall pass". Although it is hard for me to know exactly what he is going through and what he feels like, I understand that it must be hard for him since he can't be himself.
Thank you all for the many prayers. We have so much to be thankful for. Jordon has not experienced any vomiting and the tumor has shrunk significantly. We have been much more fortunate than others. We encounter people up her with similar and different situations that have noone to turn to and no faith. We are blessed by our friends, family, and we have the comfort of our Savior to carry us through. Jordon never turns down an opportunity for someone to pray with him as he knows the power of it. Kenny calls every night to read the Bible to him over the phone. This is all amazing to me, because as a 10 year old boy he is rather mature and doesn't seem too busy/cool to listen to a Bible story or pray.
