The weekends are pretty slow around here. They have what they call a "weekend" staff and no procedures are done unless they are emergent. So although today is the day his protocol is to have another intrathecal injection, they are waiting till Monday. Gives Jordon a break and anything that is not emergent is a good thing.
We had a good day with family and got to go to the garden again today. The helicopter lands close to the garden so we were able to see it land today. Jordon then played a game of Uno with his new found friend Robbie, then came back to the room for dinner. Dinner was skipped tonight because Jordon has developed sores in his mouth from one of the chemo's. They say this is VERY common as the job of chemotherapy is to break down fast generating cells (i.e. cancer). Apparently your hair and mouth tissues have fast generating cells too.
Thank you all for the prayers and love! I try and read all the post to Jordon, or let him read them himself. He also wants to thank everyone for all the cards and appreciates that friends are thinking about him. The things people have done for us are more than we could ever imagine and I am not sure we could ever thank you all enough.
He is such a happy child, please pray that his spirits stay high and that this trial will strengthen his faith and reliance on Christ.
