Third Sunday

Over the last few weeks I have been spiritually fed beyond what I ever could imagine an experience like this could ever do for me.  Not only has the Lord reminded us of the wonderful friends and family we have that have been important in our spiritual growth, but He has also placed people in our path that we would not have otherwise met for it not have been for this experience. And although I know that the Lord tells us through scripture some things will not be revealed to us, He has blessed me with peace in knowing that there was a reason that some things that really confused or troubled us in the past, was all for a reason.  And we also know that although we are going through this that we are not alone.  He wants us to lean on Him.  He doesn't promise that our earthly life will be without sorrow, but He does promise that He will NEVER leave us.  He wants us to draw closer to Him.  So while we have missed now three Sunday's the Lord has found ways for us to be compensated.  I see Jordon growing spiritually.  I think any child that goes through this must lean on the Lord to make it through.  And Jordon appears to have wisdom beyond his years.  It is incredible.  

I hope all of this makes sense-sometimes it is hard to put into words what you are trying to say.  Basically, we may never fully know why Jordon must go through this (until we are in Heaven), but the Lord has shown us that He knew we would go through this.  He also blessed us with answering our confusion about why other things happened when they did.  We should never ask why, for we know that His will is PERFECT and we are not without comfort.

As for Jordon's day it was pretty "restful".  Jordon slept till noon.  When he got up he had to take some medicine for the mouth sores.  After that he ate a personal pan pizza, cheese ravioli, cheese quesadilla, clam chowder, and applejuice.  Jordon has a new roommate today, although we have not met him yet since the roommate is sleeping.  But we do know that he is a 9 year old boy that had to come in on an emergent basis.  

Scripture that I was blessed with today:   

As you do not know what is the way of the wind. Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who make everything.  Ecclesiastes 11:5.  

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face.  Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.  1 Corinthians 13:12.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.
