We have waited before and now we are waiting again.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Philippians 4:13

We had a very busy day today.  The days all run together and go fast.  So I think it is Tuesday.  Today we began with NO eating after 12 am.  We had lots planned but only got to do a couple of those things.

They tested Jordon's bones with a Bone scan and his lower organs with another CT scan.  The CT scan was only done initially where the tumor was.  The CT scan was first and only took a few minutes.  We saw one of the radiologist that we had seen before and she told me that she believed Jordon was one of the coolest kids she had ever met.  Soon after we went to get a bone scan and that took around an hour.  Jordon fell asleep while they were doing the bone scan and I could tell that he was beginning to run a fever.  When we got back to the room his temp spiked to 103.1.

While waiting for the test results we visited with Jane Taggart, Craig & Shelly Ash.  Both my grandmothers (Jordon's great grandmothers) and my brother also visited.  Jordon was told he could eat but we have had a hard time getting him to eat anything.  The doctors told me not to force him to eat because we will be asking him to do a lot in the coming weeks.

When we got the official test results from the test we took today my whole family was there.  He told us that the bone scan and the ct scan showed NO CANCER in those areas.  PRAISE THE LORD!  We also got moved to the BEST room on the floor.  We have much more room, a view and I have been upgraded to a couch to sleep on.

Tomorrow we will have two final test to determine whether or not the cancer is in another area other than the tumor in the chest.  We will have a bone marrow biopsy (which I thought would be today) and a spinal fluid biopsy.  They will only take him into the operating room once so they will do the spinal tap, place chemotherapy into the spinal fluid and do the bone marrow biopsy.  They will place chemotherapy into the spinal fluid so that if there is cancer there they will have the first treatment out of the way.  They will not put him to sleep but will make him as knocked out as possible.

This evening we had a visit from Lanny and Ellen Ash and that brought a huge smile to Jordon's face.  He loves seeing people from home and I think it helps pass the days.

Today was a good day.  Again I cannot thank everyone enough for their prayers, support and love we feel.  We live in the BEST community and could not do this without you.  We know that the Lord is with us and and He loves Jordon.
