Later last night Jordon had some visits from friends Alex and Nathan and their mothers. He was THRILLED!!!! He has not done many normal things since being here so this totally lifted his spirit.
Also last night we had some new experiences but I am sure there will be LOTS of new experiences/concerns over the next few months.
After Jordon went to bed around 11:30 (yes our schedule is a bit off) I noticed his pulse was low. The lowest I seen it get was 47 bpm. So the nurse came in to take his temperature and his blood pressure. His blood pressure was taken three times and it was 88/37. His temperature was around 96 degrees. So all these things had me a bit concerned. I looked through all of his medication information and none of the information indicated any of the things Jordon was experiencing should be side effects. So the doctor came into talk to me and reassured me that this was normal and they have many other things to test for before they become concerned, and they were not worried.
As for today we had one test-ekg. It was normal. He took his medication per protocol and had no other changes. So today was the calmest we have had since being here. I even had a nap!
Jordon went on throughout the day and played chess, built legos, watched TV, and played the wii. They really have a lot to keep the kids occupied as I am sure it is difficult for these kids, especially Jordon since he has not been outside since we entered the hospital early last Saturday morning. Jordon also had a visit from a dalmatian. Her name is Nel.
They are hoping for final results, on the biopsies we had yesterday, tomorrow. So prayers for tonight are... peace, understanding, patience, the ability to handle the results whatever they may be, and through all of this the Lord's will be done.
We want you to know that we are so blessed to have the people in our life that we do- our friends, family, community, and family in Christ. Thank you all for EVERYTHING! I know it would be even more difficult to go through this without you.
