PARTY TONIGHT RM 919

So I know this is earlier than my usual "blog" time but I just cannot contain myself.

Our day started out as usual and Jordon had a nice big breakfast and then had his mid morning nap.  Around noon we started getting visitors.  Four of Jordon's classmates and sports buddies came for a visit.  Yance, Parker, Tristan, and Issac.  They stayed for a few hours talked, played, ate junk, laughed, went outside to the rooftop garden, and opened gifts.  Jordon was on cloud nine.
And then the news came.  As far as all the test can tell, and as of right now they can find no other cancer other than the tumor in his chest.  He has no cancer in the other lymph nodes, the spinal fluid, the bone marrow, the bones or anywhere in his abdomen area.  THIS IS GREAT NEWS!  So even though they will never know how long the tumor has been growing with all of these results their best guess is 2-3 weeks.  The cancer is NOT considered aggressive because it is nowhere else in the body but the mass is the type of mass that grows very quickly.  Right now I am feeling the best I have felt in a week and a half and Jordon is taking a nap after his busy day and big dinner.

Tomorrow we will have another CT scan that will tell us if the tumor has responded to the first round of chemo.  They should also tell us what stage he is in tomorrow.  So prayers for tonight are to thank the Lord for all he has done and for getting us through all that we have gotten through.  The pediatrician that originally sent us to the hospital is like an angel!  She heard something and took action and as far as we can tell this was caught very early!

Just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.  2 Corinthians 1:5.
